Like most makeup artists, Susan started as a painter of adult faces. Then, in 2014, after years of beauty, fashion and portraits, she did her first kid's editorial shoot.  To her surprise, working with children aligned with her creative aesthetic perfectly. Her favorite style of work had always been natural, romantic and ethereal — an ideal match for children.  Susan believes that kids should look like kids-and the makeup that she does reflects that belief.  Whether it be concealing dark circles beneath the eyes, adding freckles, or playing with colors, she keeps the look fresh, and kid-appropriate.   She has a natural ability to connect with her subjects, and is able to put them at ease while getting them ready for the shoot.
